Mr. Tamaris’ garage door slowed down amid grinding noises, and he tracked the problem to his opener drive trolley. He needed the trolley replaced, and possibly the opener tracks repaired as well.
The trolley had scratched up the opener’s drive tracks pretty badly, but the chain was still in fine shape. We unscrewed the tracks and put in a replacement, and then set the new trolley in them and reconnected the chain. Mr. Tamaris’ garage door opener took to its new drive components well.
